    Lisa Pearson

    Board Member, Treasurer

Lisa, her husband Chad & their dog Samson have lived in Valley Park for just over 3 years. They love their neighborhood & being part of community activities.

By joining VPCT, Lisa is excited to once again become part of the family atmosphere that community theater provides.

Lisa fell in love with the theater in high school, where she took part in multiple productions & even continued to help put on shows after she graduated.

In college, Lisa continued to fuel her passion by studying theater tech design & running the drama club.  Both of which contributed to her earning the director's award for outstanding achievement two years in a row.

From acting to directing, costuming to lighting, prop mastering to stage managing, Lisa has done it all.

    Michele Martinez

    Board Member, Secretary

I am a proud mom of four and even prouder Me-Maw of two. I work at Siteman Cancer Center as a Laboratory Project Manager and live in the Bevo Mill Neighborhood with my husband Aaron and our beloved pack of three rescue dogs. I am a voracious reader and short story writer and dream of writing the next great novel or screenplay. I believe in the importance of building strong community ties and throughout my life have volunteered in a variety of capacities with non-profits focused on providing opportunities for people to engage and use their talents and ideas to contribute in positive ways to their communities. Growing up, I desperately wanted to be a “theatre kid” but did not have the opportunity. I was finally able to fulfill my dream two years ago and the thrill was even better than I had imagined. Everyone with a desire to participate in theatre, in any capacity, should have the opportunity to do so. The VPCT will enable people from all walks of life to come together, in a safe, supportive environment where differences are celebrated and creativity and artistic expression is encouraged. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to play a role in this endeavor that is going to entertain, and enrich the Valley Park Community.

  • Richard Matt-Zeitler

    Board Member, Technical Director

Richard Matt-Zeitler has been producing theatre in the area for the last 20 years. His passion for theatre was discovered during his time at Southwest Illinois College. He then worked with Open House Theatre for 14 years. After Open House, he and his husband started St. Louis Limelight Magazine, which served the theatre community through free production advertising, reviews, and exclusive interviews. Before the pandemic, they launched Myriad Productions and staged a critically acclaimesd production of Heathers the Musical.

Richard lives in Valley Park with his partner of 13 years and their 16 year old son. While they are still new to the community, he is very excited to bring this company to the area for everyone.

    Board Member

Lola is the showgirl of the group. Her experience in theater and performing at Jefferson College is where she fell in love with live theater.

That passion, lead her to pursue a degree in musical theater at Columbia College Chicago. Just short of earning her degree, Lola fell into a beautiful career, teaching and managing a ballroom dance studio in downtown Chicago. 21 years later, Lola was grateful and luck enough to be teaching, traveling, and using her passion for dance and to inspire others.

Lola is also very passionate of all things mystical! When she’s not dancing frolicking in the woods, she is with her corgi, King Tut or talking to trees,  and reading tarot cards!
